Police on the South Shore are raiding three homes this morning in connection with a cocaine trafficking ring.
Shortly after 4:30 AM Longueuil police arrested two men and a woman, all between the ages of 39 and 55 years old.
The swat team and canine unit are raiding their homes, two in Greenfield Park and one in Brossard, to find the drugs.
Constable Mark David says the investigation started after they received a tip from a citizen.
“We received information in May, indicating that there was three individuals selling cocaine in the area. It’s all information from the public that helped us advance in this case.”
David says the group is not connected to organized crime.
“It’s an independent group that is working on the territory.”
The three individuals have been charged with drug trafficking, possession of drugs and conspiring to sell drugs.
