High speed chase on Highway 40 involving 3 motorcyclists

Two got away

Police are searching for two motorcyclists that got away during a high speed chase on the Metropolitan Expressway early Thursday morning.

The chase started at around 3:15 AM on the Highway 40 eastbound at Stinson.  The three motorcyclists quickly separated and police managed to follow one.

The Sûreté du Québec says the chase ended in residential streets of Anjou when the suspect in his twenties road on the sidewalk and was doored by a police cruiser.

“He hit the patrol door, then the motorcycle fell to the ground and he fled by foot,” Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, SQ spokesperson said.

The suspect was not seriously injured.  He was eventually caught by foot and charged.

He will be detained until he appears in court Thursday.

Police believe the only motive behind his fleeing was his high speed because he had a license and the motorcycle was not stolen.

Officers are searching for the two other motorcyclists.

These are probably the 3 same idiots that went flying in and out of traffic on the decarie around midnight last night. Weaving in and out of lanes almost caused an accident there as well.
