There was a nurse-in Friday afternoon at a public pool in Rosemont.
It comes a few days after Melodie Nelson was told by an employee she couldn't breastfeed her toddler there.
"So happy and relieved. That makes me feel really good to see that much mothers who breastfeed or just support breastfeeding," said Nelson
The borough later said the employee was wrong to have said she couldn't nurse there, and went one step further and said breastfeeding in public was to be encouraged.
About two dozen breastfeeding mothers showed up for the nurse-in.
