A 66-year-old woman was hurt after a ceiling collapse at a boutique on Sherbrooke street west near Victoria.

Her injuries are not serious, but she was taken to hospital.

"The existing old cement rock ceiling came unattached and then collapsed onto the false ceiling and then collapsed onto the patrons inside," said a relative of one of the owners.

It happened at Lingerie Courval at 4861 Sherbrooke Street West in Westmount.
