Accurso has a date with Charbonneau in September

Once the Charbonneau Commission hearings resume after Labour Day, Tony Accurso will be taking the stand.

Reports are suggesting the controversial construction magnate has been subpoenaed to testify all that week, beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Accurso had gone all the way to the Supreme Court in an effort to avoid having to testify. His efforts thus far have been unsuccessful.

He still faces multiple fraud charges, and claims his right to a fair trial would be compromised if he were to appear before the Charbonneau Commission.
