Although things have improved in recent years, Montreal is the most congested city in Canada, according to traffic experts INRIX.
The average rush hour commute has Montrealers sitting in traffic jams for 38 hours per year. That's down two hours from last year, and is a big improvement over Montreal's worst traffic delay tally, in 2010, when time lost amounted to nearly 64 hours per year.
However, Montrealers are worse off than commuters in Toronto, New York and Rome.
The worst city int he world for traffic delays is London, England. There, the average driver spends more than 83 hours a year stuck in jams.
