Frustrated parents in Repentigny take on Mayor over controversial piece of land

Parents of children at the only English language school in Repentigny faced off against that town's Mayor at a city council meeting last night.

The parents are upset after the French school board in the area announced plans to build a new French school on a piece of land that Franklin Hill Elementary proposed to build a soccer field and track on.

The Mayor says there's no more space for the French board to build on but parents feel the Mayor is siding with the French board.

The Education Minister could be asked to intervene.
