Pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine say they've taken the bodies recovered from the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 to a rebel-held town nearby.
They say the remains will be kept in refrigerated train cars until international investigators arrive.
A rebel leader also says the plane's black boxes have been recovered and will be handed over to the International Civil Aviation Organization.
Meantime, the leaders of France, Germany and Britain are telling Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure that separatists in Ukraine give full access to investigators at the crash site.
As well, U-S Secretary of State John Kerry says it appears Ukraine separatists are to blame for the downing of the Malaysian jetliner.
He says Russia almost certainly was complicit.
Kerry has demanded that Russia act immediately to rein in the rebels and to actively support a transparent investigation into what happened to the plane.
One Canadian was among the 298 victims.
