Store employee: I was told to wear a padded bra

A woman who works at a downtown clothing store says she has been told she'll be fired unless she starts wearing a padded bra to work.

Genevieve Guay has worked at the American Eagle Outfitters store for a year.

She says until recently, she never wore a bra because she felt they were uncomfortable and being a petite woman, she figured she didn't need the support anyway.

She says when her bosses told her that she had to wear not just a bra but a padded one, she offered to wear an ordinary one or a camisole but that was deemed not good enough.

The store chain has told the Journal de Montreal that it will not comment specifically on Guay's case, but says all female employees are expected to wear undergarments on the job.

If it's not the language police by the francophones it's the morality police by the anglophones. Speak French, don't wear a bra.

@Jfjoubert Where did the french/english thing come from? Certainly not this article. Are you just trying to revive that tired old battle once again? Didn't we have enough of it already?

I've commented on these issues several times. The girl in the Metro store and most recently a Tim Horton's incident. The magic word is BOYCOTT these dumps.
