Hundreds of municipal workers are protesting outside Montreal city hall this afternoon.

This is their second major protest against legislation that changes how much they have to pay into their pension plans.

During a protest last month, the protesters set a bonfire outside city hall.

There is no fire, so far, during this protest, but demonstrators did bring a huge cake for Mayor Denis Coderre's birthday.

I understand their frustration but those of us without any supplementary pensions don't feel any sympathy Why should we have to subsidize their pensions when we don't have one. . Also the stickers they are putting on OUR cars and trucks is defacing public property. Why don't they put stickers on their own vehicles.
