UPDATE: missing teen found

A 15-year old boy reported missing after he took a jetski out for a spin on Lac St-Jean has been found.

He was located overnight by searchers aboard a helicopter who were using infra-red devices.

He was in good shape, sitting on his jetski, which may have stalled or run out of gas.

The teen left alone on a personal watercraft at 2:30 yesterday afternoon from Chemin de la Pointe in St-Felicien.

By late afternoon, his family, worried after not hearing from him, began to search by boat.

By 5:30 p.m. they called the Surete du Quebec.

S.Q. spokesperson Christine Coulombe said last night the young man is not from the area, so he may have gotten lost.

"I think he is a healthy boy. I think he had a life jacket, yes."

The Quebec City teenager was visiting the family cottage.
