The suspected accomplice, Claude Hamelin, is scheduled to appear in court in Valleyfield Friday — after being arrested in Rigaud.

55-year-old Robert Gaudette escaped from the Montée St. Francois prison on Tuesday — reportedly through a window in his room.

He is still on the lam.
