The number of STM managerial staff with salaries of $ 100,000 or more has tripled since 2006.

According to data obtained through Access to Information by 24Heures newspaper, the number of senior executives went from 83 to 252 in 2013, an increase of 203% in only seven years.

Management of the STM admits that there has indeed recently been a significant increase in the number of senior employees and say in part it's because of the execution of many "major" projects including the purchase of the new AZUR cars and implementation of OPUS and iBus systems.

This is why everything is in a deficit in Quebec. There are always tooooooo many managers getting high salaries, perks, bonuses, pensions etc.
Seems that for every workers, there's at least 3 idiots telling him what to do.

This has to be remembered along with the $125,000 spent on adding "de" and "du", etc. to signs, the next time the STM asks for or imposes another rate hike.
I'd like to see an actual number attached to this article. How many people are included in the $100K+ club?.
BTW, does this include all the benefits and pensions the STM will have to pay for as well? I HIGHLY doubt it.
