Club Super Sexe slapped with lawsuit

Two men from Connecticut have filed a lawsuit against the Super Sexe strip club on Saint Catherine Street claiming they were beat up by four doormen after a dispute over their bill.

Jesse Allyn McCall  and his brother Dylan are seeking $860,000 as a result of the injuries they sustained.

They say that in August of 2011, after spending an evening at the club, they were presented with a wildly inflated bill.

The pair claim that when they refused to pay and tried to call police they were jumped by four bouncers.

One claims to have been permanently disfigured by the beating, the other lost two teeth after being kicked and punched in the head and ended up in hospital.

In addition to the attack  the pair says the bouncers stole their credit cards and $500 in cash.

Police eventually laid charges against one of the bouncers and he faces a trial next year on charges of assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, extortion and kidnapping.

The suit names the club, its owner and one of the doormen.

Clearly these men are not accustomed to Montreal strip club protocol.

The beatings are all part of the experience.

Seriously, I was an x-doorman and my biggest problem was when Americans ran a tab and always disputed the tab, saying that we ripped them off or we over charged them, the fact of the matter was that they were drunk beyond and normal person and think they could get away with it, pay your tabs up front and don`t run a tab for outsiders.
We are not in USA this is CANADA and follow our rules

I know someone who had the same experience. The waitress brought the patrons a tray of about 40 shooters and when the guys said they did not order them they were surrounded by the bouncers who held the guys while the server when through their wallets . This scam is sure to attract many tourists to Montreal.

Lotsa luck getting this kind of money in Canada.

Looks more to me like a couple of idiots with a bad attitude are looking for a free payday.

Am looking forward to seeing the follow ups on this. "laughed out of court" comes to mind. At least I hope their lawyers soak them good.

Next time, pay your bill and get out. There are much better ways to deal with an inflated bill.
