The U.S. Border Patrol says it arrested a 42-year-old Rwandan citizen near the border with Canada who is wanted for war crimes.

A Canadian warrant says Jean Leonard Teganya is wanted for deportation for violating human rights under the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act related to the Rwandan genocide in the 1990s.

The border patrol says a U.S. agent found Teganya near the border with Canada on Aug. 3. Teganya was sent for processing on a violation of entry without inspection.

The patrol says a database search revealed the warrant for Teganya. He was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations.

Teganya's lawyer said he wasn't aware his client was detained.

Why is this piece of garbage in Canada and why is it allowed to walk around freely?
Yet they want to deport that man who's taking care of his dying mother.
Immigration Canada grow a backbone, you're nothing but a joke.
