A police report into the bus crash that killed a Quebec teenager in upstate New York last month shows there were no mechanical problems prior to the crash.
New York State police, however, are still poring over data from the bus' black box, to determine how fast the bus was going at the time of the crash.
The crash on the morning of July 18 killed 14-year-old Chelssy Mercier when she was thrown from her seat and pinned underneath the bus.
Three other passengers were seriously hurt.
The bus, chartered by a transport company called J'ai Mon Voyage, was carrying passengers from Quebec City, Trois-Rivieres and Longueuil to New York City for a weekend trip.
