Fire breaks out in Plateau-Mont-Royal apartment building

About a dozen people were forced from their homes Thursday evening after a fire at a two-storey building in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.

Firefighters got the call around 9:30 P.M.

The flames broke out on the top floor of the apartment building on Chabot St. north of Mont-Royal Ave.

A section of Mont-Royal Ave. was blocked between Cartier and de Lorimier.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
