The city of Montreal is about to choose the winner of a competition stemming from snow removal operations.
It looks it'll be in the form of an app.
"In the month of May, we asked the citizens, small businsses, startups, to come and join us to find a solution to the communication issues we have during snow removal operations in the winter. We started with close to a hundred citizens that showed up to discuss with us some ideas to how we can improve communication", said executive committee vice president Harout Chitilian in an interview with CJAD News.
The city launched the challenge officially in the beginning of July and 8 teams are still in the running.
Some 5-thousand vehicles are towed during snow removal operations.
