There's an open invitation to participate in the demonstration, to all Canadians.
Catholics and Christians who have organized the demonstration are concerned for their compatriots in the Middle East hope to pressure the Canadian government to intervene in what they are calling a genocide.
Maro Akoury a volunteer handling communications for the Assembly says Christians can't sit idly by while those in Syria and Iraq perish.
"Our main objective is a rally from the heart, un cris to coeur," said Akoury, "we have to act."
