Former University of Ottawa hockey players from Quebec face sex assault charges

Two former University of Ottawa hockey players from Quebec face sexual assault charges.

It stems from an incident alleged to have occurred in February when the team was in Thunder Bay, Ontario for a game.

Twenty-four-year-old Guillaume Donovan and 25-year-old David Foucher, both from Gatineau, have been released from custody and are due back in court in Thunder Bay on September 30th.

Police say the alleged assault involved a 21-year-old female victim.
