Montreal's first snow storm is coming.
A system moving in from the US and then into Ontario could dump as much as 35 centimeters of snow in the Montreal area.
It's all expected to start Monday night around midnight.
"You still have today and this evening if you have travel plans. For travel, it could be a good idea to try to do it tonight, this evening before the snow starts because the snow starts overnight and then we'll wake up with a blanket of snow", said Environment Canada meteorologist Marie-Eve Giguere.
As well, winds will gust from the northeast kicking all that snow around.
5 to 10 centmeters are expected overnight, but the snow will continue into Tuesday night.
"We're expecting up to 25 more, (centimeters), on Tuesday with snow pellets mixed in there. So, the amount, the 25, will depend on how much snow pellets get mixed in this. But, definitely pretty poor driving conditions tomorrow", added Giguere.
Flurries are forecast for Wednesday.
