Green Our Communities into Action: Free Tree Give Away
Coop La Maison Verte will be offering an opportunity to Green Our Communities. On May 17, 2008, they will have a sale on on a large variety of heritage tomato, vegetable and herb seedlings, grown by 2 local long-time contributors of the N.D.G. community; Action Communiterre, a local non-profit organization, and local farmer, Stephen Homer of Ferme du Zephyr.
They will also be giving away 400 trees donated by Les Clubs 4H! There will also be free composting and gardening workshops.
