Deadly weekend on Quebec roads

No less than seven people have died on Quebec's road this weekend.

And nine others were hurt.

And in each case, the accidents have involved drivers in their twenties, or younger.

Saturday night, two young men lost their lives in a three-vehicle accident in the Lanaudiere community of Sainte-Melanie. Two people suffered serious injuries.

Earlier on the weekend, two cousins were killed in a head-on collision in Beauharnois, southwest of Montreal.

And Friday night in Laval, an 18-year old woman was killed and four teenagers injured, when their car went off the road and struck a tree. The woman who was killled was ejected from the car. She had not been wearing a seat belt.
