On-line petition against Loto-Quebec online gambling

Opponents of Loto-Quebec's new online gambling venture have started up a petition.
 
It's available on the National Assembly website.

The EMJEU coalition (Éthique pour une moderation du jeu) call it a casino on the Internet.

The petition is demanding the Quebec government immediately dump the project and create an independant organization responsible for coordinating efforts to research and prevent compulsive gambling.

The group criticizes the fact that Loto-Quebec made this decision without public consultation.
