Cops search near Pont Viau

 

Police continue to search the Laval side of the Viau bridge in the hopes of turning up clues into the disappearance of 2 missing Laval men.

A command post has been set up by cops on scene...as cops are using sonar equipment to try and see if there's a car in the water.

Vincent Lamoureux and Hugo Pereira have been missing since last Wednesday.

Police started searching the area...after traces of car debris were found by the riverbed.

Authorities focused their search on the Laval, Quebec side of the bridge, which connects the suburb to the island of Montreal.

Divers were on scene ready to go in if sonar picked up anything.

Friends and family members gathered on the shore to hold a vigil.
