Toll roads popular with Quebecers: poll

Quebecers seem to like the idea of re-introducing tolls to the province's highways -- so long as the money raised goes to paying for the upkeep of those roads.
The Leger poll shows 65 percent of Quebecers say they'd be in favor of setting up tolls on bridges and tunnels which lead into Montreal, while 67 percent say they should be put on some of Quebec's major highways.
Also, most Quebecers agree with the idea that those who use the highways, more so than taxpayers, should pay for road maintenance.
