John Cusack in town

You may have noticed that guy walking around Montreal who kinda looks like John Cusack.

Well, it probably was him.

The star of 1408 and High Fidelity is in town shooting the crime thriller The Factory with producer Joel Silver, who also produced the Matrix movies.

The Société générale de financement du Québec, the government's investment arm, is touting this production as the third film resulting from its recent partnership with Silver and production company Dark Castle:  a 270-million dollar deal involving 15 movies until 2012.

The two other films so far were Whiteout, starring Kate Beckinsale and Tom Skerritt. Orphan started shooting last month with Peter Sarsgaard and co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.
