More John Cusack sightings.

Last week the star of High Fidelity and 1408 was seen around town shooting the crime thriller The Factory.

And now for the past three days, he's been in West Island Pointe Claire. Montreal's been standing in for Buffalo.

Reports say the crew's been shooting at two houses on de l'Eglise, renting them out for 1500 dollars a day.

They had to use potato flakes to simulate a snow storm; the film takes place during the holidays so residents were asked to put up their Christmas lights and decorations.

The crew has now moved to a neighbourhood in South Shore Varennes.

They've been shooting over the past few weeks in several Montreal locations including Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and the Bonaventure Expressway.
