Two Years PLUS a Month for a Serial Drunk-Driver

A serial drunk-driver was sentenced to 25-months in prison this morning in Shawinigan. 47-year-old Réjean Thiffault, in his 14th arraignment on impaired-driving charges, had pleaded guilty.
In his most recent infraction, in January, Thiffault shattered the window of a bar in Grand-mère after being thrown-out of the establishment, then went on to crash his car into several other vehicles.
He won't be allowed to drive for the next 4 years; and his car has been confiscated, a legal precedent in such matters.
