Sex education classes abolished from Quebec classrooms

Quebec teenagers might soon be left in the dark about the dangers and joys of sexual intimacy.

Quebec is becoming the first province in Canada to cut high school sex ed classes.

Sex ed is sometimes considered to be contoversial in schools, with students coming from many ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

So instead of the course, math and gym teachers are now being asked to discuss the birds and the bees with their students.
