Saul Itzhayek comes home today

Saul Itzhayek was released from an Indian prison earlier this week after serving 10 months of a 3 year sentence for entering the country with an invalid VISA.

His sister Sylvia says he is scheduled to arrive at Trudeau International airport sometime Friday afternoon.  The airport has agreed to let the family have a private reunion with Saul before heading into the glare of the spotlight.

Sylvia says the family and those involved thought long and hard about subjecting her brother to the media.  She says the media has supported and played a big role in her brother life, therefore, they have decided Saul will meet the press upon his arrival. CJAD has been on top of this story and will have a reporter at the airport.

Sylvia says she has spoken with Saul several times since his release and says he is exhausted and just wants the nightmare to come to an end.  Saul Itzhayek will meet with a doctor on Friday to have a thorough physical examination.
