Longueuil police find charred body in car

Longueuil police made a grim discovery overnight.

A charred body was found in a burnt-out car just before 3 this morning in the Old Longueuil district.

Firefighters got a call about a car spewing smoke on Metropole street, and then discovered the body a short time later.

It's not known whether the body is that of a man or a woman -- for now, Longueuil police are treating the death as suspicious.
