Free: gas-saving tips

Special injectors, filters, additives: you'll hear about more and more would-be gas-saving gadgets and ploys as gas prices continue to skyrocket. But CJAD's own Master Mechanic Lisa Christensen doesn't put alot of stock in "miraculous gas savers".

She preffers to keep it simple.

Starting with two simple tricks:

Don't drive a clunker -- just keep your vehicle in proper working condition.....

And, the simplest trick of all: back off the pedal, and obey speed limits.

And why not cast to the red light just ahead?

Other simple tricks: inflate your tires as per manufacturer recommendationsand remove bike and other utility racks from your car when you're not using them.
