Smokey Vehicle Fire on the West-Island

Some American tourists from Illinois won't have the best memories of their trip through Montreal.

Their RV caught fire shortly after 9 this morning as they stopped at a West-Island Ile-Perrot fast-food outlet on Grand-Boulevard near Don-Quixote. 

Ile-Perrot Fire-Chief Eric Parna tells CJAD News his crew had the fire out in about an hour and no one was injured. 

No word on the cause of the smokey fire, Chief Parna saying it's not the same as determining the cause of a house fire; it's usually left up to the insurance company to figure out.
