Montreal man goes on joyride with a stolen fire truck

Hey buddy, where's the fire?

A 37-year-old Montreal man is accused of stealing a fire truck in the Laurentian community of Prevost.

Local police spotted the fire truck around 8:30 last night, weaving along the street for no apparent reason.

Both the trucks lights and sirens were on.

Police were able to pull the truck over but the driver made a run for it.

He was quickly caught.

He's facing a number of charges including car theft, impaired driving and dangerous driving.
