Police union boss attacks chief

And the head of the Montreal police union is taking the police chief to task for, among other things, a lack of leadership in dealing with events like the Montreal North riots -- and the hockey riots in April.
Yves Francoeur says Yvan Delorme was nowhere when those events were happening, when he should have been giving orders and organizing the police operations.
He also blames Delorme for failing to rush to the defence of his officers following the Villanueva incident, and for showing up at the funeral home where Villanueva was exposed, to pay his respects to Villanueva's family.
