Laval police have arrested a man who allegedly cloned credit and debit cards and used them in a series of bank ATM's.

Police started surveillance after being tipped off about a suspicious character lurking around banks.  They moved-in after seeing the suspect come out of a bank with what looked like stuffed deposit envelopes.

Officers moved-in as the man sat in his car where they say they found cash-stuffed envelopes and cloned debit and credit cards in plain view on the car-seat.

A search of the suspect's apartment turned-up 600 cloned cards, cloning equipment, 24-thousand dollars in cash and electronic equipment allegedly bought with cloned cards.

The suspect, a man in his 20's, was due to be arraigned in court this afternoon.
