Private schools top school ranking list

The Fraser Institute is out with its annual rankings of Quebec's high schools.

And they find 9 private high schools, and 2 public schools get perfect 10 out of 10 scores.

Among the perfect private schools -- Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's school for girls in Westmount.

The top English-language public school -- Royal West Academy.

At the bottom of the list -- second to last among public schools -- St. Henri's James Lyng High School, which is ranked 473rd out of 474 schools.

The rankings are based on student performance in provincial exams, and graduation and dropout rates.
