Recall of ricotta cheese sold in Montreal

A brand of ricotta cheese sold here in Montreal is being recalled because of listeria contamination.  Santa Lucia brand ricotta was sold at several stores:  Inter-Marche Lagoria in St. Leonard, Inter-Marche St.Michel on St. Michel Boulevard and Charcuterie Noel on Leger Boulevard.  The recall covers 500-gram packages bearing the best before date of January 1st. 2009.
