Suspicious package turns out to be warm and cuddly

In Laval this week, a bus driver called police to report a suspicious package in a bus shelter on Laurentian Boulevard in the Vimont district. The patrol officers who responded to the call did think the cardboard box looked suspicious - it was sealed with tape and had a rock on top of it. But it also had some holes punched in the side and there was some soft noises emanating from it. Turns out the box contained not a bomb but an abandoned mother cat and her three kittens. They're in good health and will be put up for adoption by Berger Blanc.
