Protesting on a cold day
In Montreal North, they tried to make a point about police brutality Saturday afternoon by shooting dice.
At Henri-Bourassa park, a few dozen people gathered to denounce the fatal police shooting of Fredy Villanueva, and to denounce the decision not to lay charges against the officer who fired the shot.
Some of the demostrators are also shooting dice, which is what Villanueva and his buddies when the confrontation with police happened.
Despite some heated verbal exchanges between the demostrators and police, there was no trouble to speak of.
And in downtown Montreal, the Mouvement Montreal Francais is staging another one of their 'buy French this holiday season' campaigns.
Members of the Mouvement will be handing out fliers outside stores, urging people to insist on being served in French
