Outremont private school girls back home from Honduras

A group of girls from a French-language Outremont private school, trapped in Honduras because of a coup d'etat, have returned home.

The 21 girls and three teachers from Pensionnat Saint-Nom-de-Marie were met by overjoyed family and friends, happy to have them back in their arms.

The girls were confined to a compound, away from any unrest, until arrangements could be made to get the home.

Despite the uncertainty, the girls say they were excited to witness history in the making.
