Help Haiti

HaitiHeader

After the catastrophic earthquake in HAITI, there are thousands injured, hurt, homeless and scared. The bottom line is people need your help now. Aid organizations say the main need on the ground in HAITI is money.

This money can buy clean water, medical supplies, and will help meet the most immediate needs for survival.

As part of our ongoing fundraising to assist the people of Haiti, the Red Cross has set up an SMS donation platform for Astral.

Listeners can text the word ASTRAL to shortcode 30333. A donation of $5 will be made to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Relief Appeal. A $5 charge will appear on their cell phone bill. This works across Canada on all networks except Sasktel.

Red CrossCJAD 800 and the Astral Media Radio Network  are teaming-up with the Canadian Red Cross to assist the millions of people needing aid in Haiti.
