RICK MOFFAT'S STUPID QUESTION OF THE DAY

Will Hockey's Guardian Angels and the great nurses and staff at the Montreal General please bring M. Beliveau a speedy recovery ?

Were Big Georges' days as numbered as his shifts after last Sunday's loss in New York?   When Carey Price appears more eager to get in a fight, ya think?  When Josh Gorges is toughing it out against Avery who's being as obnoxious as ever, even after Josh dished out worse than he took it; when Benoit Pouliot engages for his first NHL fight?  And still only 4 shifts from Georges and no fight?  

It was pretty clear at that point Jacques Martin had lost confidence in his "enforcer".   Georges telling me he had weekly meetings with coach to plead for more icetime clearly was his way of dropping the gloves to pick up his pink-slip.

Won't you be impressed if Georges really does pull off a first-hand aid mission to Haiti, though?  He's obviously got time on his hands. 

Is the Q-League going to go too soft on Patrice Cormier?  I still fear they will.  The easy decision will be to suspend the future Devil for the remainder of REGULAR season.   His suspension must include playoffs, or he got away with assault with a deadly weapon.

Now that the Als have John Bowman re-signed, do you wanna bet his yoga-bra-from-anudda-ma Anwar Stewart wants to extend his deal?
