A loose window pane crashed onto St. Lawrence yesterday from the fifth floor of the building housing the Old Brewery Mission.
No one was hurt, but firefighters did knock out several other windows as a preventative measure.
Meantime, the stretch of Peel between De Maisonneuve and Sherbrooke will remain closed to cars until the middle of next week at the earliest.
The city is waiting on engineers to give the all-clear and say the Marriott Hotel's facade is secure.
A woman dining at street level was killed two weeks ago, when a chunk of concrete fell on her from the 18th floor.
