Kevin and Trudie - host biography
Kevin Holden
Birthplace? ~Montreal
What's the best thing about living in Montreal?
Clean, friendly
Most memorable moment in your radio career?
Covering the Concordia riots
Favorite person you interviewed and why?
Singer Micael Buble because it was one of his first interviews and he was candid in a way he will never be again. Anywhere.
Other than Montreal, where else would you love to live someday?
Vegas. Or anywhere that has never seen snow and never will.
When you have friends visit Montreal from elsewhere for the first time, what's the one thing you insist they see/do?
Smoked meat and poutine. Then a quick round of angioplasty.
What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
Operating the news-crawl text for a small cable tv station. We got bored a lot and made little cartoons out of the letters and symbols on our keyboards.
Favorite Hobby/Pastime?
Mixing audio clips and music, airbrushing murals on my kids walls, and building model kits with my kids.
Favorite magazine?
Used to be Maxim. Leaning toward Esquire these days.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be, and why?
To go back in time and take back something I said...
Favorite television show of all time?
Gotta be Star Trek. Classic.
TV Show that you'd most like to appear on, and why?
Simpsons. To be immortalized as a cartoon would be great.
Famous person (living or dead) you'd most like to have lunch with?
Prof. James Burke. One of the smartest people alive today.
If they made a movie about you, what actor would you like to play you?
Jonathan Frakes. People used to believe I was his stunt double. Many pizzas ago.
What's your #1 pet peeve?
Women on cellphones in cars. One or the other, lady!
Whom do you admire the most?
Al Gore. For not spending the last six years filled with bitterness at being robbed. Just moved on with new priorities.
