This is the type of thing that crosses Dan's mind, the kind of topic you're most likely to hear on Laxer Live. The show is like a column that you contribute to. Dan Laxer was born and raised in Montreal, and has been a part of Montreal radio for just over a decade, getting his foot caught in the door of CJAD's sister station Mix 96. Since then he's limped around the building as a producer for almost every segment of the CJAD broadcast day, working with several announcers from the late Mark Rennie in the wee hours right on up to Andrew Carter in the morning. Along the way he's pocketed a master's degree in English (not like shoplifting or anything, he earned it.), published poetry, played music in bars, acted on stage, gotten married and fathered the two most beautiful and brilliant children on the face of the Earth.
Dan still hasn't figured out why these bios are always written in the 3rd person.
